Aunty Maree's Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients
1 kg Vivaldi potato, boiled, sliced
6 bacon rashers chopped
1 onion chopped
90 g butter melted
3 tbs plain flour
2 cups cheese grated
2 1/4 cups milk warmed
1/4 cup fresh breadcrumbs
1 pinch salt and pepper
1 tbs butter *extra
Directions
Place potatoes in a casserole dish.
Sauté onion and bacon in melted butter.
Stir in flour and cook for several minutes.
Gradually stir in the milk and bring to the boil.
Add cheese, salt and pepper.
Stir until cheese melts and pour over the potatoes.
Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and dot with extra butter.
Bake at 180C for about 30 minutes.
